1. Product Variations The 950ml bottle is typically the Smoothing Cream (Step 1). It comes in three strengths—you must choose the one that matches your hair's current state: • Natural (Blue/Pink branding): For normal, healthy hair with natural waves or curls. • Natural Resistant (Purple branding): For thick, coarse, or very "rebellious" hair that usually resists chemical treatments. • Sensitised (Green branding): For hair that has been previously colored, highlighted, or is naturally fragile. 2. The Technology: Nutri-Cationic This isn't just a straightener; it’s a "Moisturist" treatment. It uses cationic surfactants that seek out the negatively charged, damaged parts of the hair fiber to repair them during the chemical process. • Result: You get the straightness of a relaxer but with the softness and "bounce" of a deep conditioning treatment. 3. Professional Application Steps If you are planning to use this, the process is precise and usually takes 1.5 to 3 hours: 1. Preparation: Wash with a clarifying shampoo (like L'Oreal Pro Classics) and rough dry. 2. Application: Apply the cream section by section, starting 1cm away from the scalp. Never apply directly to the scalp to avoid irritation or "chemical haircut" breakage. 3. Development: * Natural/Resistant: Up to 20 minutes. • Sensitised: Up to 15 minutes. 4. The "Knot Test": Stylists perform a stretch test on a few strands to see if the bonds have softened enough. 5. Rinse & Iron: Rinse thoroughly, blow-dry to 80%, and then flat-iron in very small sections at roughly 180°C. This "sets" the new straight shape. 6. Neutralization: You must apply the X-Tenso Neutralising Cream (sold separately) for 10 minutes to re-lock the hair bonds.
